- SCOPE OF THE POLICY
This Refund Policy sets out the conditions under which users (employers and freelancers) of the ITUP platform may
request refunds, cancel orders, or dispute charges, in accordance with ITUP’s Terms of Service.
By using ITUP and making transactions on the platform, the user expressly agrees to the terms of this policy. - CONDITIONS FOR REQUESTING A REFUND
Refunds will only be processed under the following justified circumstances:
- The freelancer did not deliver the agreed work.
- The delivered work clearly fails to meet the project requirements.
- Fraudulent activity or identity impersonation is detected.
- The order was canceled by mutual agreement before work started.
- A payment processing error or duplicate transaction occurred.
- TIMEFRAMES FOR REQUESTING A REFUND
- Active orders: May be canceled before delivery if justified.
- Delivered orders: May be canceled within 2 days of delivery, subject to ITUP review.
- Completed orders: May be canceled up to 5 days after finalization.
Outside of these periods, ITUP reserves the right to reject refund requests.
- REFUND METHOD
- Refunds will be processed only to the original payment method used by the buyer.
- Processing may take between 5 to 10 business days, depending on the payment service provider.
- ITUP does not issue refunds in cash or internal credits.
- CHARGEBACKS AND PAYMENT DISPUTES
- If a user initiates a chargeback with their bank or payment provider, ITUP reserves the right to temporarily suspend the
account while the dispute is resolved. - If the chargeback is deemed valid, the amount will be deducted from the corresponding freelancer.
- RESTRICTIONS AND EXCLUSIONS
Refunds will not be granted in the following cases:
- Buyer’s change of mind without a technical or contractual reason.
- Work that has been explicitly approved by the buyer.
